Cryodestruction is one of the best and most effective ways to remove growths. Treatment can be carried out not only on an outpatient basis, but also at home. Wartner Cryo for warts has a much gentler effect on warts than when frozen with liquid nitrogen in the clinic due to a more gentle temperature. In most cases, the growth disappears after the first procedure.
Release forms Wartner
There are two forms of Wartner for removing growths:
- Applicator for removing formations in the form of a pen.
- Aerosol for warts Wartner Cryo.
Important! The Wartner pen and spray are used to kill common and plantar warts and are not suitable for removing growths on sensitive areas such as the face, armpits or reproductive organs.
An effective drug for warts
Pen applicator
Description of the drug
The anti-wart pencil has the same recommendations and contraindications as the Wartner Cryo spray. However, there are differences between the products in composition, method of application and release form. The manufacturer of the brand is Omega Pharma.
The medication is sold in the form of a white pencil, at one end of which there is a rotating cap, and at the other - a nozzle with an applicator, with which you can apply the product pointwise.
The pen includes a special yellowish-transparent gel that has a vinegar scent. The active substance of the product is trichloroacetic acid, with the help of which formations are destroyed to the very root, and therefore relapses are practically excluded.
When using, the handle must be directed vertically so that the nozzle is at the bottom, then turn the cap clockwise. Then soak the wart with the protruding gel, without touching healthy skin. To ensure the safety of the procedure, the skin around the formation should be lubricated with a protective cream.
Destruction of a wart with a pen occurs in 4 days, after which over the course of two weeks the formation peels off and healthy skin appears. If the result is insufficient, the course of treatment can be repeated.
Handle applicator
Advantages of the drug
The anti-wart pencil has a number of advantages over other means.:
- Spot application, which can be achieved using an applicator.
- Affordable price.
- Quick results.
- Low chance of relapse.
- Pencil treatment is painless.
The pen also helps get rid of dry calluses and corns on the feet.
Algorithm of actions when using the tool
Procedure for using a pencil:
- Position the pen vertically with the tip pointing down.
- Turn the cap until the gel appears, which should be applied to the wart. If the growth is large, you can use a few drops of the drug. As a precaution, healthy skin should be lubricated with a protective cream, and the product should be applied accurately and accurately.
- Allow the gel to dry, usually 20 minutes is enough.
To achieve the desired effect, the drug should be used for 4 days in a row. It is strictly contraindicated to use the product for longer than the specified period; if the result is negative, you should consult a doctor.
Wartner Cryo
Wartner Cryo for warts is the safest and most effective method for removing formations up to 7 mm in size.
The drug is available in the form of an aerosol can with a volume of 50 ml, which is placed in a cardboard box. In addition, the kit includes 12 applicators, a special holder and annotation.
You can use Wartner to remove growths more than once. The shelf life of the drug is 2 years.
Wartner Cryo, which helps get rid of warts, contains propane and dimethyl ether. During the evaporation of dimethyl ether from the surface of the growth, freezing occurs down to −40° to the very root of the formation. As a result of this, the mutated tissues are cauterized, blood flow is improved, due to which immune cells are activated and rush to the site of the lesion.
The product can be purchased at a pharmacy without a prescription, but before purchasing it is advisable to consult a doctor to find out all about contraindications and side effects.
Important! Analogues of the drug are Cryopharma and Maxivart.
Analogue of the drug Wartner Cryo
Contraindications
Contraindications to the drug are:
- Increased blood glucose levels, since the skin takes a long time to tighten and heal after the procedure.
- Diseases of the circulatory system.
- Rashes, swelling, redness and itching of the skin.
- Wounds, cracks, scratches.
- Pregnancy.
- Lactation period.
- The patient's age is up to 4 years.
Main advantages

- The product does not contain acid or potent elements.
- With the help of the drug you can remove almost all warts. The exception is genital warts.
- Quality of life is preserved. There are many cases where people removed the growths and soon took a shower.
The procedure for using the drug is simple and painless
Disadvantages of the drug
Like all drugs, Wartner has disadvantages:
- The formation may not be removed.
- The possibility of relapse cannot be ruled out, since freezing occurs superficially. The infection may remain in the lower layers of the skin.
- If the product is kept on for a long time, a scar may form on the skin, so before using the drug you must carefully study the instructions.
- If the growth has been on the body for a long time, or the wart is plantar, the course of treatment will consist of two or three doses.
Removing warts with Wartner Cryo
Application procedure
Algorithm of action when using the drug:
- Take the applicator by the blue part with your thumb and forefinger, press and place the holder rod into the opened hole.
- Place the can on a flat surface and lower the holder into its recess. You need to make sure that the cylinder is positioned vertically.
- Hold the bottle by the bottom with one hand and press the holder with the other for three seconds. During filling, a characteristic hissing sound will be clearly audible.
- Remove the holder from the can and leave it in the air for 20 minutes so that the temperature on the holder decreases under the influence of the refrigerant.
- Apply and press the applicator to the formation. Treatment time depends on the type and size of the growth.
- You cannot tear off the applicator during the procedure, even for a moment. During manipulation, the patient may feel a tingling sensation, this is explained by the effect of cold on the growth.
- 2 minutes after completion of the procedure, remove the applicator from the holder. This must be done using fabric material - infection can leak through contact with hands.
Before destroying a plantar wart, you should steam your feet in a warm bath and exfoliate your feet with a pumice stone. If after the procedure stepping on your foot causes pain, you can stick a patch on the affected area - this will protect the skin from friction and pressure when walking.
Exposure time
The time for applying the applicator to regular and flat warts depends on the diameter of the growth:
- If the diameter is less than 2.5 mm – 10 sec.
- Located between 2.5 and 5 mm – 15 sec.
- More than 5 mm – 20 sec.
The exposure time for a plantar wart is 40 seconds. regardless of the size of education.
Important! In no case should you keep the applicator on the affected area - this can lead to burns and scars.
The applicator should not be kept on the wart site for longer than the prescribed time.
Healing process
The healing procedure occurs in several stages:
- In the first three days after the procedure, a blister forms on the affected area, which promotes the formation of new skin cells and protects against infection.
- The bubble transforms into a dry crust.
- 14 days after using the drug, the formation peels off and healthy skin breaks through. At first, it may have a shade different from the rest of the skin, but over time it evens out.
Care instructions
In order for the rehabilitation process to take place without unpleasant consequences, you should follow the rules for caring for the damaged area:
- The affected area should always remain clean to avoid infection. You are allowed to go to the pools and take showers.
- It is forbidden to open or scratch the resulting bubble.
- To avoid friction and pressure on the affected area, you can stick a patch on top.
- If you experience pain, a burning sensation or swelling, you should consult a doctor.
Side effects
The following side effects may occur after using the drug:
- Cold injury.
- Damage to nerve endings.
- The skin around the affected area may become white or discolored.
- Scars may appear if the applicator is used for too long.
- Change in skin tone in the damaged area.
- Pain during the procedure.
Storage conditions of the drug
To ensure that the drug for removing warts does not lose its medicinal properties for as long as possible, and its use is safe, you should:
- Store the product in a cool and dry place with a temperature of no more than +25°.
- Keep the drug away from children.
- Do not expose the container to ultraviolet rays, as the product is flammable.
- It is strictly forbidden to pierce or set fire to the canister, and it is also necessary to ensure that its temperature is not higher than +50°.
- The gap between the cylinder and power sources must be at least 1 m.
- It is contraindicated to smoke near the can and to leave unextinguished cigarettes nearby.
The drug must not only be used correctly, but also stored correctly
Let's sum it up
Cryotherapy at home is an excellent alternative to removing warts with liquid nitrogen in a clinic.
For this purpose, Omega Pharma has developed freezing agents in two forms: a convenient pencil and a Wartner Cryo can.
The Wartner wart remedy has such advantages as: ease of use, effectiveness, safety and painlessness during manipulation. In order for the procedure to proceed without consequences, you must strictly follow the instructions.

Wartner for warts
According to statistics, about 80% of the world's population are carriers of the human papillomavirus. In most cases, HPV does not manifest itself in any way, but under favorable conditions it can cause such an unpleasant phenomenon as warts.
Skin growths are not only a serious cosmetic defect, but also a source of infection for others, so they should be disposed of in a timely manner.
For use at home, doctors recommend the Wartner wart remedy, which is available in the form of an aerosol for freezing or a gel for cauterizing the affected areas of the epidermis.
Types and causes of the disease
There are several main types of warts:
Types of warts
- Simple (vulgar) - round growths with a keratinized surface of beige or gray-yellow color, most often localized on the face or hands.
- Flat (youthful) - multiple papules, slightly raised above the surface of the skin. Usually located on the face, back of the hands or mucous membranes of the mouth, genitals, and rectum.
- Plantar or palmoplantar - dense, painful to the touch callus-like neoplasms of a yellowish or gray-brown color that appear on the soles and palms in places where shoe pressure is applied or in skin folds with excessive sweating.
- Thread-like - small soft nodules on legs, most often located on the eyelids, neck, armpits, under the mammary glands.
- Condylomas acuminata are small pinkish papillary growths that tend to grow and merge. As a rule, they are localized on the surface of the genitals and in the perineum.
- Senile plaques are dense, dry plaques of a brownish-gray color that develop as a result of age-related changes in the epidermis.
What do warts look like?
All types of defects, with the exception of senile defects, are caused by various modifications of HPV.
Infection occurs through household or sexual contact with a person suffering from diseases caused by the human papillomavirus, or a virus carrier who does not have clinical manifestations of pathology.
Most often, skin growths occur against the background of decreased immunity. The impetus for their appearance may be the following factors:
- past infectious diseases;
- hormonal disorders;
- long-term medication use;
- stress, lack of sleep, chronic fatigue;
- frequent mechanical damage to the skin;
- increased sweating;
- visiting public baths, saunas, swimming pools.
Description and principle of action of the drug
On pharmacy shelves you can find two types of the drug “Wartner” (“Wartner”) for removing warts at home:
- Aerosol "Wartner Cryo" for freezing.
- “Wartner” applicator pen (pencil) for chemical cauterization.
Aerosol "Wartner Cryo"
The Wartner Cryo aerosol for warts contains dimethyl ether and propane, which, when interacting with the affected area of the skin, provide deep freezing to -57 ° C and destroy not only the outer part of the growth, but also its root. The drug is a more gentle analogue of cryotherapy carried out in medical institutions - destruction of neoplasms of viral origin with liquid nitrogen.
The product packaging includes the following components:
- 50 ml of refrigerant in an aluminum bottle;
- disposable applicators for applying refrigerant (12 pieces);
- plastic device for holding applicators;
- file for exfoliating the skin before treatment.
Wartner applicator pen
Wartner wart pencil contains 1.5 ml of gel, the main active ingredient of which is highly concentrated trichloroacetic acid.
The drug has a deep local effect on the surface of the neoplasm, causing its delamination while simultaneously destroying the virus localized in the epidermis.
After the chemical burn heals, healthy skin is regenerated at the site of the growth.
Indications for use
Wartner preparations in the form of an aerosol and gel are used for the destruction of vulgar and plantar (palm-plantar) tumors localized on the surface of the hands and feet.
Important! Before use, you must visit a doctor and conduct the necessary studies to exclude the malignant nature of skin tumors.
Mode of application
The drug "Wartner" in the form of an aerosol and gel for warts must be used in strict accordance with the attached instructions. Let's consider the procedure for using the medicine in both forms of release.
Application of Wartner Cryo aerosol
- Steam the skin on the affected limb in a bath of hot water for 5-7 minutes and remove the keratinized part of the growth with an exfoliating nail file.
- Place the plastic wart remover applicator in the recess of the holding device and insert it into the hole in the top of the balloon, pressing firmly for three seconds. In this case, a characteristic hiss of the refrigerant should be heard.
- Turn the holder and let the active components of the spray cool the applicator for 20 seconds.
- Press the working surface of the cooled applicator to the affected area of the epidermis and fix:
- for 10 seconds for a single defect with a diameter of less than 3 mm;
- for 20 seconds for an ordinary tumor larger than 3 mm;
- for 40 seconds for plantar growth.
After use, the applicator must be removed from the holder and disposed of. It is not suitable for reuse, since it is not sterile after contact with the source of infection.
Despite the fact that the components contained in the product do not pose a health hazard, it is necessary to work with the aerosol only in a well-ventilated area. It is undesirable to inhale the gases released during this process.
Patients who had tumors removed using an aerosol reported pale skin upon exposure to the refrigerant, followed by the appearance of a small blister.
These symptoms should not cause concern; this is a natural reaction of the epidermis to deep freezing. It is recommended to cover the treated area with a breathable plaster.
Complete skin regeneration should occur within a few weeks.
If the procedure is carried out in violation of the basic rules of the instructions for use, the source of infection remains, which leads to a relapse. In this case, therapy can be repeated.
Using the Wartner applicator pen
- Steam the skin on the affected limb in a bath of hot water for 5-7 minutes and carefully treat the rough surface of the growth with a nail file.
- Protect the areas surrounding the wart from the aggressive components of the medicine. To do this, it is advisable to use any cosmetic oil or cream. If acid accidentally comes into contact with healthy skin, immediately wash it with warm water and detergent and repeat the procedure.
- Turning the pen with the transparent end down, carefully move its cap to the right until the first drop of liquid is released.
- Distribute the gel evenly over the surface of the wart, being careful not to go beyond its borders. For large diameter growths, up to 5-7 drops of the product may be required.
- Allow the preparation to air dry for 10-15 minutes, after which you can get dressed. Carry out the procedure daily for four days.
After completing a course of treatment using a pencil as a result of a chemical burn, the skin at the site where the gel was applied will gradually die, thicken or darken. Loose particles must be carefully removed under running warm water. The process of complete regeneration of the epidermis may take several weeks.
If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated, but no more than four times on one area of the skin.
Contraindications
Preparations “Wartner” and “Wartner Cryo” for warts should not be used in areas with sensitive and thin skin, as well as in places where moles and hyperpigmentation accumulate. The main contraindications to treatment with these aggressive agents are:
- children under four years of age;

- cold burn;
- epidermal pigmentation;
- damage to nerve endings;
- pain in the area of application;
- formation of scars when the contact time of the applicator with the skin is exceeded.
A wart pencil can cause the following side effects:
- ulceration and scarring of the affected area;

WARTNER (WARTNER) for warts: reviews of the pencil, instructions for use
- Dermatologist of the highest category Inna Vladimirovna
- 31347
- Update date: December 2019
Warts are benign growths caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). According to various sources, from one third to half of all humanity is infected with this virus.
Condylomas and papillomas can appear in a variety of places: on the face, hands, feet and even on the mucous membranes. They not only cause discomfort, but also pose a health hazard: with frequent injury, there is a risk of their degeneration into a malignant neoplasm. Therefore, it is necessary to get rid of them.
You can do this at home using Wartner for warts.
Composition and release form
If, 14 days after using the product, the wart or part of it has not disappeared, you can treat it again; to re-treat it, you need to use a new applicator
The manufacturer of the wart remedy Wartner (Wartner), intended for the removal of papillomas and condylomas at home, is the Dutch pharmaceutical company Bittner-Pharma. The drug is available in two forms: aerosol and gel.
The active ingredients (refrigerants) of Wartner Cryo aerosol are:
- dimethyl ether;
- propane.
The drug is packaged in a blue-white cardboard box. Each package contains:
- Aluminum aerosol can with a capacity of 50 ml – 1 pc.
- Holder for applicator – 1 pc.
- Disposable applicators – 12 pcs.
- Instructions for use of the medicine.
The second form of Wartner for warts is a gel pencil (pen) intended for chemical cauterization of neoplasm tissue. The gel contains:
- thickener;
- trichloroacetic acid.
The pencil (pen) includes an applicator through which a gel mass is released and applied to the wart. Since during processing there is direct contact of the skin with the surface of the bottle, it is recommended to use the Wartner anti-wart pencil strictly individually.
A plastic pencil “stuffed” with gel is packed in a cardboard box. A leaflet describing the nature of the effect of the drug and the rules for its use is also included here.
pharmachologic effect
Aerosol and gel forms of Wartner have different effects on tissue when removing warts. The principle of operation of the aerosol is cryodestruction (destruction of papillomas and condylomas by freezing). When freezing, the liquid contained in the tissues of the neoplasm disrupts the integrity of its cells, contributing to their death.
The components of the aerosol form of the Wartner drug act more gently than liquid nitrogen, which is popular in the destruction of such neoplasms and is used in beauty salons.
The action of the Wartner gel pencil (pen) against warts is based on the chemical cauterization of papillomas and condylomas by the acidic component of the gel.
Trichloroacetic acid has great activity when acting on the keratinized layers of warts, softening and dissolving them.
This procedure is also relatively gentle, without injuring the healthy part of the epidermis (if used correctly). Therefore, both forms of Wartner are approved for use at home.
Both the gel and the spray for warts and papillomas Wartner are available in pharmacies on an over-the-counter basis and are intended for self-use by patients. However, before using them, it is necessary to discuss this issue with a specialist - a dermatologist. This is especially important when the patient is a child or an elderly person.
Indications and contraindications for use
In early childhood, the use of Wartner is strictly contraindicated
Wartner wart remedy is recommended for use when removing the following types of wart-type tumors:
- Genital warts.
- Papillomas.
- Plantar warts.
- Filiform warts.
- Common warts.
It should be clarified that we can only talk about those warts that are localized on the back of the hand, on the palm, on the elbows, as well as on the knees, feet, plantar part of the foot, phalanges of the toes and hands - where the epidermis is quite dense and rough layers. It cannot be used to remove warts located on the face, neck, groin, armpit or mucous membrane.
Also a contraindication to the use of any form of the drug Wartner is:
- age up to 4 years;
- pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding);
- individual intolerance to the components included in the drug;

- localization of the wart at the border of the mucous membrane and dense skin;
- unknown etiology - before treating a wart with the drug, you should make sure that it is benign.
In the absence of contraindications, after consultation with a doctor, you can begin a course of treatment with Wartner. It should be noted that the larger and older the wart, the longer the period of use of the drug will be required to remove it.
Directions for use and dosage
When using the Wartner aerosol form for cryotherapy of growths, you must:
- Insert the applicator into the holder.
- Insert the holder with the applicator into the hole located on the head of the can.
- Hold the canister by the bottom with one hand and press the applicator with the other until a hiss appears.
- Wait 3 seconds, counting down: 21, 22, 23. The applicator should become covered with frost.

- from 2.5 mm to 5 mm – 15 seconds;
- more than 5 mm – up to 20 seconds (but no longer).
After use, the applicator should be thrown away without touching the part that was pressed against the wart with your hands. Reuse of the same applicator is not permitted.
To use a gel pencil, you need:
- Turn the wheel at the bottom of the handle until the gel appears from the plastic dispenser.
- Apply a thin layer of gel to the wart, trying to completely cover it without touching healthy tissue.
- Wait 10-15 minutes until the gel is absorbed.
- Apply the gel to the wart twice a day for 4 days.
To avoid accidental contact of Wartner spray or gel on a healthy surface, lubricate the skin around the wart with a thick layer of rich cream. Then you should carefully remove it with a paper napkin.
special instructions

When using Wartner spray or gel, the following rules must be observed:
- Best used in the evening;
- After applying the product, do not wet the skin for several hours and do not cover it with anything;
- if it is necessary to repeat the course of treatment (one treatment for large old warts may not be enough), this can be done no earlier than the crusts that formed on the site of the wart after the first stage have fallen off;
- You cannot forcibly remove the crusts - you need to wait until they fall off on their own;
- repeating the course more than three times for one wart is not recommended - if it does not disappear, it is better to consult a doctor;
- You cannot use a drug that has expired - its date must be indicated on the packaging.
The medicine should be stored out of the reach of children, away from light and heating devices. When disposing of empty cylinders, do not heat them or throw them into fire.
Overdose and side effects
No cases of drug overdose have been recorded.
If you accidentally burn a healthy area of the epidermis, you should carefully wipe the affected area with an alcohol-containing liquid, then wash with warm water and soap. If an allergy occurs, stop using the drug until consulting a doctor.
Price and analogues
The cost of a bottle of Wartner aerosol varies from 640 to 700 rubles. A pen/pencil with gel, depending on the volume, costs from 400 to 1000 rubles. Complete analogues of Wartner include the drug Cryopharma, also produced in the Netherlands.
Reviews

Andrey, 26 years old
“Wartner didn’t help me - celandine is better.”
Olga, 35 years old
“Wartner helps a lot, but if the wart is large, you shouldn’t expect a quick result. Must be used regularly for at least two weeks.”

Wartner wart remover: instructions for use and effectiveness
Warts are skin growths that are an external manifestation of the human papillomavirus. To reduce discomfort, many medications have been developed, among which Wartner gel is popular.
Content
Features of the drug Wartner cryo
Warts appear on various parts of the body and cause discomfort to a person. There is also a risk of damage and infection.
There are two methods used to eliminate warts:
- the use of topical preparations that contain acids;
- removal using hardware methods - laser or cryodestruction.
Wartner Cryo is a modern development that combines the advantages of the hardware method, but can be used independently at home. The drug is based on the principle of cryotherapy, when a wart, papilloma or condyloma is exposed to low temperatures. As a result, the virus cells freeze and die, and the tumor disappears.
Wartner cryo for warts has many advantages:
- efficiency of use;
- quick relief from skin manifestations of papillomavirus;
- ease of use;
- painlessness and safety.
The drug is widely used in European countries and is an excellent alternative to going to beauty salons or clinics, where the doctor uses machines to remove papillomas and warts. You can get rid of growths yourself, without leaving your home.
Wartner Cryo was developed by Irish scientists, taking into account the characteristics and nature of the formation of growths.
Composition and release form
Wartner anti-wart pencil contains dimethyl ether and propane. Their combination has an immediate effect on the skin - they freeze it to -40oC. This has a detrimental effect on the tissue of the virus - the wart freezes and falls off.
When used correctly, the skin around the growth does not suffer, and the person does not experience severe pain. There may be only a slight burning sensation or paleness of the tissues, but after a few minutes the discomfort goes away and the skin restores its natural color.
Freezing occurs quickly, and preparation for the procedure and the processing itself do not take much time, which is extremely convenient,
Wartner is used for two types of warts:
- ordinary;
- plantar.
The product is presented in an aerosol, which is sold in pharmacies in 50 ml bottles.
We recommend reading:
In the package you will find:
- aerosol can - 1 piece;
- holder for applicator - 1 pc;
- disposable applicators - 12 pcs;
- nail file - 1 pc.
Please note that upon purchase, the packaging must be undamaged and the bottle with the product must not have any defects or dents!
Instructions for use
To achieve the desired result, proper use of the product is important. To do this, we advise you to study the instructions for using Wartner aerosol against warts:
- There is a blue area on the applicator. Press it until a hole appears. A holder or handle is inserted into it.
- The applicator handle should be positioned vertically with the clear tip facing down. Turn the raised cap at the top of the handle. Move in a clockwise direction.
- Wait until the first drop of gel appears in the transparent tip. Don't worry if it doesn't flow out right away - you may need to twist the cap a few times for the substance to appear.
- Gently apply Wartner Crio to the papilloma. Avoid getting liquid on nearby tissues to prevent them from being exposed to cold. Make sure that the entire growth is covered with a thick layer of gel.
- The gel product should dry within 10-15 minutes, after which it may come into contact with fabric or shoes.
The maximum effect when removing warts with Wartner Cryo is achieved when using the product twice a day for 4 days.
To remove plantar warts, before the procedure you need to take a warm foot bath and soak your feet for 5 minutes. Afterwards, treat the area with a nail file, which is included in the kit.
If a burning sensation is observed after treatment, we recommend isolating the area with a bandage.
Precautionary measures:
- do not pierce or scratch the skin formation;
- keep the damaged area clean;
- The applicator is used once, change it every time you use it;
- The exposure time of the product is up to 20 seconds for ordinary and 40 seconds for plantar warts.
Contraindications and side effects
Wartner Cryo has contraindications:
- Prohibited for children under 4 years of age.
- Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.
- Do not use by people suffering from diabetes. They have a difficult healing process, and the area exposed to cold treatment can take a long time to recover.
- If there are problems with blood circulation, you should consult a doctor.
Sensitive skin should not be exposed to Wartner:
- faces;
- neck;
- breasts and décolleté;
- intimate places.
- It is not recommended to use if the skin is itchy or swollen.
- Do not use the product on birthmarks, moles or growths.
- The drug Wartner and its analogues, which are based on cryotherapy, may have a number of side effects:
- The appearance of a white ring around the area affected by the gel.
- Long-term exposure may cause scarring and damage to nerve endings.
- It is rare to experience pain or depigmentation after removal of the growth.
Wartner pencil is an effective remedy, but only if there are examinations that confirm the presence of HPV and its skin manifestations.

Directions for use and doses
Aerosol Wartner is intended for external use only.
It is necessary to apply a drop of the drug to the surface of the wart, this must be done very carefully so that it does not get on healthy skin. Apply the product in a thin layer over the entire surface of the wart. Depending on the size of the wart, one or several drops are applied.
For a plantar wart, you need to hold the applicator for 40 seconds, and for a regular wart, 20 seconds are enough, during which time the wart is completely frozen to its full depth.
Usually, one such procedure is enough and within 10-14 days after using the drug, the warts peel off, leaving no scars or any visible changes on the skin.
If the warts are large or old, 2-3 freezing procedures may be needed, 2 weeks after the first procedure. If the wart has not disappeared after 3 freezing sessions, you should consult a doctor.
The applicator must be used once and then discarded.
Overdose
When using the drug Wartner in doses significantly higher than the recommended dose, you may experience pain, mild ulceration, burning, and the skin around the wart may become discolored. If signs of overdose appear, symptomatic treatment should be used.
